Sell-Side Support

Belltree are able to provide tailored sell-side M&A support to clients via a number of pathways:

  • Bespoke technical studies
  • Ongoing technical representation and farm-out support
  • Strategic advice
  • Access to international investor networks
  • Opportunity marketing and promotion

Buy-Side Support

Belltree are able to provide on-site and virtual data room review support to clients interested in acquiring any upstream field or portfolio. Every evaluation is different and as such the process is difficult to generalise. To help illustrate Belltree’s approach a case study is available for a recent data room support project in the North Sea – view Case Study.

Reporting

Informal Reporting (Management Reports / Expert Opinion Report)

Belltree are experts in the provision of tailored, independent Management and Stakeholder reports. Our documentation assists our clients in communicating the value of their assets to both internal and external stakeholders. We routinely prepare the following:

  • Country Entry Reviews
  • Portfolio Value Summaries
  • Independent M&A Target Assessments
  • Full Field Reviews
  • Individual Project Proposals / Look-Backs
  • Expert Opinion Reports for Banks / JV partners

Formal Reporting (Competent Persons Report)

Belltree and its Partners are able to offer clients a full Competent Person’s Reporting (CPR) service to support an Initial Public Offering (IPO) on stock exchanges such as AIM or LSE.

We have the depth of experience, qualifications and strong relationships needed to deliver high quality CPRs for any asset portfolio, far in exceedance of the “minimum” requirements.

All of our CPR signatories have in excess of 10 years relevant experience (typically much more) and are all chartered engineers or geoscientists registered with conforming and well-respected professional organisations.

In addition, due to our size and flexible team structures we are typically able to offer CPRs at commercial rates that are more competitive than the traditional large suppliers.
